Built around how Trackman actually works
Trackman doesn’t hand you a file after the game — the unit uploads the game CSV to your team’s FTP server, and getting it from there is the step that trips most coaches up. Our FAQ walks through the whole thing with FileZilla: where to get credentials from your Trackman operator, how to connect, and which folder your game files land in. Once the CSV is on your laptop, you’re one drag-and-drop from a finished report.
Trackman pitch tagging isn’t perfect — sinkers get logged as fastballs, sweepers as sliders, especially when the operator is busy running a game. PitchFilthy lets you review and correct pitch types right after upload, so the usage rates, movement profiles, and per-pitch metrics in the final report reflect what was actually thrown, not what the tagging guessed.
Because a Trackman game file carries full game context — counts, batters, and called pitches — one upload powers more than the pitching report. The same CSV generates hitting breakdowns, a catcher framing report built from every called pitch, and an umpire scorecard grading the strike zone. You never upload the same game twice.
